Animals Facts That Will Brighten Up Your Day

 

Animals are creatures of comradery and pack mentality. People have long been able to commune with animals in a way that facilitates peaceful existence between the species, so much so that we welcome them into our homes and keep them as pets! The following are some facts about all different kinds of animals that are sure to make you smile.

 

  1. Male puppies will often let the female puppies win in tug of wars or play fights, even if they have the physical advantage. Who said chivalry was dead?
  2. Puffins mate for life - they build their homes together on cliffsides.
  3. Rats laugh when they are tickled!
  4. Spiders can’t fly - something for all of us to be happy about.
  5. Studies have shown that cows produce significantly more milk when they are listening to slow, classical music.
  6. There is a program in American prisons in which inmates train and teach seeing-eye-dogs. Many participants have found this experience to be an extremely rewarding way of making amends for their crimes.
